Inspire and empower the innovators of tomorrow with Silverfern’s Club Package. Designed as a flexible extracurricular offering, this program gives students the opportunity to explore, experiment, and innovate beyond the classroom.
Schools and families can register their interest to start a Silverfern Robotics Club at their school, creating a welcoming space where learners can test new ideas, iterate freely, and unleash their imagination. Adaptable to all experience levels, the program supports students as they grow their technical skills and creativity using industry-leading technology.
In a world rapidly shaped by automation, AI, and digital innovation, giving your child a head start in robotics and coding is more important than ever.
The Silverfern Robotics Club offers two dynamic learning streams tailored for different age groups: the Novice Class (Years 2–4) and the Apprentice Class (Years 5–8).
Silverfern Robotics Club offers an engaging, hands-on introduction to robotics through weekly one-hour sessions, tailored to each learning stream. Students use powerful yet beginner-friendly tools like Resly, our custom-built Web IDE, and MakeCode, a visual programming platform that makes coding intuitive and fun. Through guided challenges, creative projects, and collaborative problem-solving, students build real-world technology skills, grow their confidence, and develop a lasting interest in robotics—all in a supportive and enjoyable environment.
1 hour per week
Young learners are gently introduced to robotics and basic coding. Through teamwork, building simple robots, and guided challenges, children begin their journey in the world of STEM in a playful, supportive environment.
Our Novice stream is designed and tailored to suit students from Year 2 through to Year 4, ensuring age-appropriate progression and skill development.
1 hour per week
Designed for students in Year 5 to Year 8, this stream dives deeper into programming and robotics.
Kids interact with MicroBit and a our MicroBit Car, working through advanced coding challenges, tuning their skills and creativity.
Fostering Teamwork, Communication, and Collaboration
Empowering the Next Generation of Innovators
Bridging the Gap Between Curiosity and Real-World Technology
Cultivating Problem Solvers and Critical Thinkers
A guide to what your child will learn.
Kids will build and operate our robots and kits – figuring out how things move, sensing obstacles, and collaborating with classmates to solve robotics challenges firsthand.
We cultivate logic, reasoning, algorithmic thinking, and pattern identification through structured tasks and open-ended challenges. Students learn to plan, test, debug, and refine their thinking – all fundamental to successful coding.
Silverfern Robotics Apprentice Class, specializes in MicroBit-driven projects. Students use Microsoft MakeCode, a visual, block-based coding platform to animate bots, create interactive games, and learn the basics of coding in an accessible, hands-on way.
Learners participate in a fun robotics competition tailored to their ability level. They’ll present their creations, show off their code, and earn prizes—perfect for boosting confidence and celebrating their progress.
